Meat Books allows you to track all of your customer’s and their order history. The customer management portion of MeatBooks allows you to do the following:
Add New Customers
Manage Customers
View Customer History
View Customer Statistics
1. Adding New Customers
To add a new customer to your MeatBooks database click on the CUSTOMERS button on your main toolbar. Then click on the ADD NEW CUSTOMER button located on the bottom left corner of screen.

A blank customer details box will appear.

t is not necessary to fill in every entry as you can always return to this screen to add additional or change existing customer date. (See the Manage Customers Section of this tutorial.)
If you check a person as a ‘Wholesale Customer’ any order that they place they will be charged wholesale price. If ‘Online Customer’ is checked that customer placed an order online. If ‘Farmer’ is checked that person will have a new option show up on the ‘Customer List’; The Farmers Control Panel. (See the Manage Customers Section of this tutorial.)
2. Manage Customers
MeatBooks holds all of your customers and their history and is very user friendly in managing them. Below is an example of your customers form:

When you select a customer that entry will be displayed in RED. Any actions taken such as creating new orders, changing contact information, viewing previous orders or statistics will be associated with the customer that is selected. See below:

The customers Last Name, First Name, Phone 1, Phone 2, and Email Address are all displayed in the entry. To view all of a customer’s information double click on the customer and the following screen will appear:

3. View Customer History
Once a customer is selected, you will see the customers order history listed on the lower right hand side of the Customer Screen,. see below:

To delete an order right click on the order and you will be given three options. Choose ‘Delete This Order’. To view the order click ‘Go To This Order’. If you want to place an order that is the same as one you already entered before click ‘Create Order From This Order’. This will copy all of the cuts in that order over to your new order.

4. View Customer Statistics
1. To view statistics for a customer first select that customer from your customer data base.
2. Click on the tab associated with the type of statistics you would like to view.
The ‘Customer Order Statistics’ tab shows the customers retail order statistics.
(Note: If a customer has no retail or processing order information the statistics screen will be blank.)

The next tab ‘Customers processing Order Statistics’ shows the trends in that customers processing orders.

Before viewing any Processing Statistics you must first select the date range and type of processing you would like to view statistics for.
